Roy D. Smith, DDS, is the Chief Operations Officer of Bright Now! Dental, Inc. Dr. Smith was formerly Vice President and Chief Dental Officer of Monarch Dental Corporation, which was acquired by Bright Now! in 2003.

Dr. Smith has 20 years of dental practice management experience, including recruiting and training dentists, group risk management, development of clinical and business support systems, market expansion, and overseeing daily operations. He also practiced general dentistry for 17 years.

Dr. Smith received a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Texas at Austin and a doctor of dental surgery degree from the University of Texas Dental School at San Antonio. In addition to his professional career, he enjoys church activities, golf, travel and family time with his wife and three children.
