As the Area Vice President, East of BND Services, Inc., Don Kane is entrusted with supervisory responsibility for over 30 offices located in Florida, Virginia, Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He has played an important role in the fantastic growth of the company over the last few years.

But first and foremost, Don is a dentist at heart. Don obtained his D.D.S. in 1961 from the University Of Pennsylvania, School Of Dentistry. He began his practice while in the U.S. Naval Reserves and continued in the Army Reserves, where he rose to the rank of Colonel. Don began his private practice in Florida in 1963, and soon developed three offices and nine dentists into the United Dental Group. When UDG was acquired by Valley Forge Dental, the purchasers recognized his business acumen and brought him onto the management board as its first Chief Dental Officer. After Valley Forge was acquired by Monarch Dental in 1998 and was subsequently purchased by BND Services, Inc, Don was again appointed to management responsibility.

But this "Dentist of the Year", an award given him by the Florida Dental Association, never gave up his first love: helping people. He not only continued his practice, he also served the public and the industry as an Associate Professor at the University of Florida, as a lecturer, an editor, and as chairman of several committees for the Florida Dental Association and the American Academy of Dental Group Practice.
