Fun and Affordable Family Vacation Ideas

Now that the kids are out of school and the weather is beautiful, it’s a perfect time to get the family out of the house. We know it can be challenging to find a trip that is exciting and also fits a budget, so here are some new getaways to try:
- Camping: Camping is a great way to unplug from the stresses of life and reconnect with your family and nature. Plus, no matter your camping expertise, there are camping trips fit to your needs. Many state parks have cabin or yurt accommodations that come with beds, heat and electricity, and some are dog-friendly. You can spend your days hiking, swimming or fishing, and your nights making smores under the stars. What better way spend a few days with the fam?
- Amusement Park: Another fun way to get the family out of the house is by going to a nearby amusement park. Make sure to do as much planning ahead of time as possible, such as purchasing tickets, and planning meals and transportation. And don’t forget the sunscreen!
