This week marks National Women’s Health Week, where women are empowered to make their health a priority. From performing routine self exams to scheduling doctor visits and eating healthy, there are plenty of ways to participate in this event. From sharing your celebration on social media to creating a healthy competition between you and your coworkers, get up and get moving!

ONLINE
If you want to show your support and celebration online, there are a number of activities you can do. Spread the word about National Women’s Health week through all your social media channels to encourage friends and family to take part. Take a healthy-selfie and post it with the #NWHW hashtag for even more exposure. Want to do more? Join the National Women’s Health Week Thunderclap or take the NWHW quiz!

IN THE OFFICE
We can’t get you out of the office for a week to celebrate women’s health, but that doesn’t mean you can’t celebrate! Organize a lunchtime walk with your coworkers during the week or encourage everyone to stand during meetings for the week. Get more involved and challenge coworkers to monitor their healthy activities like steps, food, water, and more.

FREE TIME
While we may want to do other things during our time away from school or the office, you can still celebrate National Women’s Health Week and have fun! Each night, cook up a deliciously healthy meal for you and your family. Start an impromptu dance party. Cut out soda and replace it with water. Take up a fitness class like yoga or Zumba. Share all your progress and ideas on social media with the #NWHW hashtag!
