Oral dental surgeon Dr. Ted Hughes performed a back molar extraction very efficiently today, and put in a dental implant post for another tooth I lost several years ago. He helped me develop a plan for another problem area. He was thorough, competent, and proactive (RX for amoxillin to avoid worrying about an infection, RX for 10 pain pills, a prescription strength mouth rinse, assistance with financing, AND he said he appreciated how cooperative I was during procedures making it easy for him to work on me, and he asked pertinent questions about my medical conditions). He is lightning quick in word and deed, so I understand some folks might need him to slow down when explaining things to new patients. I was seen on time, received more work than we scheduled, and I was amazed how prompt he was. Support staff were kind and efficient. He may cost a bit more than some other providers, but his skill is worth it! My insurance sucks, and I’ve already maxed out my dental limit for the year. If you know you’re going to need multiple procedures, do pre visit research so that you understand what to potentially expect before you go. A+
