I think that they overbook and are running from one patient to another, like juggling and in my case, I pointed out the tooth that I was having trouble with was on top and they were x-raying the bottom. When the dentist cane in, she began checking my bottoms teeth, I brought it to their attention, they said oh, that’s ok, NO it is not! As with everywhere, clearer communications need to improve and right away.
