My son was scheduled for an appointment at the Blackstone location. Making the appointment was easy and staff on the phone were helpful and friendly. We were running a few minutes late and called to notify the office in advance. They were able to accommodate us which was helpful. Upon arrival the receptionist on the left became impatient although I am disabled which she was not aware of. The reception was not kind nor pleasant and was more concerned about getting the Dr home. Appointment felt very rushed. This same receptionist didn’t give anytime to complete paperwork before she took my minor child back without his parent. I had to run after them to be with him for consult. Introduction to this office was disappointing. Although the Dr was in a hurry to get somewhere he took his time explaining options for braces and answered any questions. Business department was great and the woman who helped us was very kind and gave all options to finance. She truly went above and beyond helping. Seemed very knowledgeable. Front staff needs training on being the face of a company. They are the first to greet the patient and family. I was treated more like a neusance as apposed to an insured customer. Hopefully some basic retraining on courteous customer service with a smile for the receptionist that sat on the left. Customers can hear everything including when you are rushing them to get the Dr out of the office because you were telling your co workers in front of you. The woman on the right was pleasant and helpful. Hopefully future appointments go much better.
