The hygienist was great, but somehow my chart directed them to give me a standard cleaning, which is not correct. The hygienist didn’t discover the error until the cleaning was nearly complete. I had not met the dentist who examined me before. The dentist looked at my x-rays from 6 months ago and told me I needed a crown and 2 cavities drilled. 6 months ago the same x-rays gave me a clean bill of oral health. This dentist drastically increased the contrast to show me and the hygienist the cavities. Weird choice for an evidence based diagnosis, 🤔
