I experienced the worst toothache of my life earlier this week that prevented me from eating any food or getting any sleep at night. The pain was so bad that medications were not helping at all and I just wanted to pull all my teeth out. Luckily, Dr. Wu at Newport Dental was able to squeeze me in the very next morning for an urgent root canal.

The entire procedure was quick and completely painless (I actually fell asleep a few times during the procedure). Thank you Dr. Wu and team! You all are doing the Lord's work.

Girls in the front are always so nice and attentive. Removed my wisdom teeth here and now getting braces. Setting up appts is a breeze. I reccomend :)

I recently visited Newport Dental for a teeth cleaning, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. Heather was incredibly kind and supportive-she really helped ease my dental anxiety. Her calming presence made me feel relaxed and comfortable throughout the entire appointment. The rest of the staff were also very pleasant and welcoming, which made the visit even better.

This is an amazing dentist from the staff to the doctor. I recommend everyone to go see Dr. Wu and Fred.and ada she is amazing. This is one of the dental places I chose. They are so polite nice from staff to the doctor and Fred. I will continue coming to this dental office. I recommend it to everyone.

Everything was outstanding from the receptionist to the dental team along with the oral surgeon.

I get tooth and gum pain just by hearing the dentist equipment running, I let my wonderful hygienist Heather know this amd she suggested a laser treatment. The treatment required no expensive anti bacterial shots, or novacaine, and was fairly painless.
Heather is one of the best hygienist Ive had at Newport dental, and is very caring about her patients.
The deep laser cleaning cost about $200 more than a regular painful scrapey cleaning, but worth every penny not having sore gums and teeth for days.
The regular laser maintenance on my next visit almost a year later, was $130. Anyone who suffers from sensitive gums should consider this option, and I was surprised to know they offer it

In 2023 I had work done by one particular dentist. I left each appointment with discomfort and a significant amount of pain.

Unfortunate for me, I had to return several times because my bite was left significantly off. I actually developed a noticeable lisp because a tooth had not been filed down correctly. It took two visits before the problem was resolved. It was a year before my teeth realigned in such a way as to feel somewhat natural again.

The DDS was kind but her work fell far short compared to dentists I’ve had in the past. The dental assistants kindly helped the dentist see where the teeth were misaligned and even then it was hard for her to get it done. It had nothing to do with concerns over root or tooth sensitivity. The repairs were done without any kind of numbing medication. It just took the dentist a long while to get it halfway right.

Fast forward to 2025. Why would I return? The office has all my records. Thankfully, the DDS I had in 2023 is no longer there. The new dentist is a helpful, professional who was able to prescribe an antibiotic for an infection behind a bad tooth. The medication worked like a charm. I’ll be back to see the DDS in three weeks for a root canal. Ugh 🙃

5 stars for office staff, assistants and hygienists! The teeth cleaning was excellent! All were welcoming and helpful.

The experience was great specially with the anxiety I get. The dentist and assistants treated me so well and We’re very patient with me.
Unfortunately, when I got home, the billing dep. called to tell me that I still owed when I had already paid in full. I reviewed my estimate with a staff the day before and also the day of my dental appointment. They made a mistake. I’m assuming and wanted me to pay for it and asked if I can make a payment plan. I didn’t agree with paying for something I did not approve of. I did feel I got some attitude (maybe review the call 2/7/25 @ approximately 1:08) I was told were giving you a one time courtesy which I replied. I never asked for a courtesy I paid for the services that I needed and could pay. The biller sounded frustrated and wasn’t the kindest about it so I cannot give you the five stars.

All staff members are friendly, caring and want to help the patient/client woth any concerns. Are transparent with costs. I enjoy going to this dental office for the dental care I need.
