Went in for second opinion and ultimate root canal. I was extremely anxious for this procedure as I’ve never had one and have heard stories about how awful and painful they were. I also elected to have 2 older fillings removed and redone same day, same side. The process was simple. I felt nothing for the root canal outside of the extra numbing I needed (had higher pain from irritated root). Both dentists were incredibly patient with me. The hygienist was very nice, spoke clearly and calmly. Overall a pretty simple and pain free experience. A temporary crown was placed and molding taken for the permanent to place in a few weeks.
