I had an appointment on Monday, February 9th, for 10:30 AM. I arrived early and everything was fine, the staff maintained a level of professional, with one exception.

The dentist extended his hand to me, and I told him my Islamic religion didn’t allow for me to shake hands with a man. Any touching outside of medical support, is deemed unnecessary. He later told me that he knew about that restriction beforehand, and he apologized. I didn’t appreciate the games, but I needed dental support.

After his examination, he stepped out of the room so I could meet with the medical biller. OK, that’s done. The dentist took an unusually long time to get back to me. As a matter of fact, I never saw him again. A woman came with dental tools and let me know she was setting things up for him. I told her I couldn’t stay and needed to reschedule.
