I still have ups and downs about this place. I have a lot of medical crap going on, and I had braces done here as well as wisdom teeth and a lot of fillings. With the 3-4 years of having braces ( was supposed to be 2 years), I had 4 different orthos and each one but one really wanted my teeth to be perfectly straight and I loved her, an her crew the most. The other guys didn’t really care and goes okay let’s do retainers and sends me home… I’m like woah this girl was just telling me I had like another year since the guy before messed up on a few teeth… well fast forward I get my braces off get glue buzzed down, then oh, no hygienist, black glue stuck between my teeth and I don’t have anything small and hard enough to get it without ruining my teeth. Let’s rewind… when I did have braces, I had a new hygienist every time, and the one, didn’t ask questions and took the enamel around my braces off. I complained to a few people and I just had to keep paying money for this mi toothpaste when I have autoimmune and specifically told you guys that I suffer with severe dry mouth since I have sjogren’s disease and SLE and the toothpaste DOESNT WORKKK!! Like no one truly cares for one another unless you’ve gone through something traumatic. Like it’s embarrassing I cant use whitening strips because of sensitivity and I have a slight stain. And on top of my medical I have chronic vomiting/nausea due to PCOS so it’s hard to keep my teeth perfect. Not only that my top retainers don’t fit and they also rushed me out the door then too… the top front of my teeth, And rubbing metal on teeth every night. As well as the retainers constantly breaking my fillings.. like isn’t there a coupon after soo many lol. Yes I called about it.
I will mention this for my boyfriend, when I took him to get his wisdom teeth removed. Which remind; he has gum issues from dipping in the past but turns out he has great teeth just sensitive gums.. he got lucky. But anyway, when he informed yall that, it seemed like doc didn’t care. He shot him up with numbing stuff then not even 2 min later hes like okay let’s start drilling, and my boyfriend told him multiple times that hes not numb like at ALL, then doc goes, “ you’ll be fine” then proceed to make my boyfriend go through pain when he could have prevented that with more time, they have done it for me… why not him or anyone else. My poor boyfriend was bruised like someone fist fought him. I went to the same place and I had swollen cheeks and that’s it! And my roots were bigger than his and more stuck, like how?!

I can say from my recent visit, it was a huge difference. I wasnt waiting for over 30min-1 hr!! I used to be late all the time to work when I worked in pharmacy just to get my braces tightened. The scheduling is always quick and easy and those ladies are always lovely.

The hygienist this time, without knowing any of my history, made me feel really good. she complemented on how well I was taking care of my teeth which I try soo hard for what I have to go through just with my health alone. She had really really good advise that no other hygienist has told me which I was baffled!! I went home and immediately started throwing stuff out that I THOUGHT was good for me/us🙄 and she was very very kind and gentle, always asking if I were okay 🙂
